This is my tribute to Michael Jackson who will always be a legend to me. I wanted to be like mike when i was a kid growing up in Tonga. In my mind those days were perfect so when i think or hear Mikes music i think of the best times in my life as a kid. I’ve never felt this way before about a musicians passing before. As i learnt this tribute song i found my sell getting real emotional over his lyrics and noticed that in a lot of his music it talks about the same things i like to talk about mainly CHANGE and LOVE! I in no way am on the same level with Mike but i have deep respect for his music and the way he could move a crowd with such positive music.

Mike you will be missed and thank you so much for inspiring generations of music.

For the two people that are following my blog here is a sneak peek at Kanyes West Heartless Cover. This was a tuff song to get through. This is pretty much live. I set up my mic and hit record. The auto tune effect picked up my guitar and did some funny things with it but this take came out pretty good so i thought i’d just post it as is.

I’m a big Kanye West fan. I love all of his tracks. I’ve done many a road trips listening to hours of Kanye. Thanks for my drummer gabe he hooked my ipod up with every living thing Kanyes ever done and more. Yup hard to believe but i have “and more” hahaha.

I Found Love is a song about finding love in yourself before you can love someone else. I thought this was a very important truth. To many relationships get ruined over selfishness and about thinking about number one. Love is about 2 :) or in my case with my kids 5. Not 5 kids haha. But my wife, myself, and my babies :).

When i wrote this song i thought it had a travel type feeling. Backpacking type of swing to it. I wanted to write about two people moving around the world and finding each other but it quickly turned into this track instead.

so i hope you enjoy this Dr. Phil type track and find love in yourself before you go and mess up your next relationship LOL.
